Allyson was formerly the Queensland state political reporter in Brisbane, and has also worked regionally across the Hunter Valley, Alice Springs and Townsville. Allyson has won several media awards including best Queensland Regional Broadcast Journalist, Northern Territory News Breaker of the Year and an Australian Sports Commission Award.
